I have created a custom style in the "copy Bible verses" tool. What happens is that it sometimes leaves out spaces after punctuation:
Then Jesus asked them, “Would anyone light a lamp and then put it under a basket or under a bed? Of course not! A lamp is placed on a stand, where its light will shine. For everything that is hidden will eventually be brought into the open, and every secret will be brought to light.
Mark 4:21–22
In this case, it did it after the word "shine." It is not only periods. It is sometimes after commas, semi-colons, etc. It also shows up that way in the program before I hit copy. What am I missing here? This is what the style looks like:
%NoCharFormatting
%NoRedLetter
%NoFootnotes
%NoCitation
=ForEachVerse
[VerseText]
=Footer

[FullPassageRef]
But I don't think it is a problem in my formatting, because if I use the built-in "Bible Text Only" style, the same thing happens:
Then Jesus asked them, “Would anyone light a lamp and then put it under a basket or under a bed? Of course not! A lamp is placed on a stand, where its light will shine. For everything that is hidden will eventually be brought into the open, and every secret will be brought to light.
Same problem, same spot.
This is a feature I use every day and it is quite annoying. Is it a bug or am I missing something obvious? It is not consistent at all. Sometimes it happens and sometimes it does not, as in the example above. Here is one more, to illustrate:
Then Moses went up to Mount Nebo from the plains of Moab and climbed Pisgah Peak, which is across from Jericho. And the LORD showed him the whole land, from Gilead as far as Dan;all the land of Naphtali; the land of Ephraim and Manasseh; all the land of Judah, extending to the Mediterranean Sea;the Negev; the Jordan Valley with Jericho—the city of palms—as far as Zoar. Then the LORD said to Moses, “This is the land I promised on oath to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob when I said, ‘I will give it to your descendants.’ I have now allowed you to see it with your own eyes, but you will not enter the land.”
Deuteronomy 34:1–4
In this case it happened after the semi-colon after "Dan" but not after all the semi-colons. It happened after the period after "Zoar," but not after all the periods.
I appreciate any help!
