SUGG: Embed Images in Notes

I have asked for this in L3 many times in the newsgroups and I'm up against it again.

I have a commentary open at a list of art. And I'm trying to get that art into my notes.

The book referenced contains a list of art thus:

I have successfully gotten the link into my notes, but I want the IMAGE in my notes, lest that link fail. I will of course keep the link so I can appropriately footnote/reference the art if I put it on a screen.

I copied the image to my clipboard and it actually appeared in the notes! well, it did until I closed the note file and now it's gone. After that first attempt I am no longer able to paste the image out of the clipboard and into that note.

PLEASE! Let me embed graphics in the notes. And let me crossreference that note to the passage (Luke 1:26ff) in my bibles!

Image embedding and multi-point reference notes are so needed by me.

Thomas, I agree, but notes are in rtf format as far as I can tell so embedding picures is impossible, I wish we had HTML, but we dont.. I also ask, but I can't see it happening

Not true. Try microsofts wordpad, or any processor and paste an image in it, save as RTF. No problem.

Yes, in some manner we need to be able to do this. in L3 I abused PBB's to achieve this. I ultimately need to be able to use them in handouts.
