I'm pretty sure just the title of this thread strays into theological territory that we're supposed to avoid. But, in the interest of completeness...

    "... or infused?"

Perhaps you haven't read the Forum Guidelines:

I am not using the forum for the theological discussion since it is not located here. Also I think it is a fine technicality to put a link that no one is forced to look at in the body of a message or put it as a footer under a signature line.

Where I come from spiritually, we try to encourage initiatives to serve the Lord, not being prohibitive when there is no real harm done.

Like many others I get every post on this forum as an e-mail, so, yes, I am forced to look at it. By starting a new thread every time you post something on your blog you are essentially spamming me, and I don't like it. If every person here that has a blog started doing that, following these forums would become impossible. So please stop.

Actually, footers can be turned off in the the profile options, so there is a difference.  Plus, I am forced to look at the message to determine if it's a Logos-relevant post.

The best solution would be for you to but the blog link as part of your forum signature (this is allowed). Users can then subscribe in their preferred RSS reader.

I am not interested in making waves and am already weary of this discussion. The way I see it, I used rather discretely and respectfully one way of connecting with a broad group of Christians to advertise something I am doing to serve the Lord. What I am hearing is that it is so excruciatingly inconvenient for some that I should just not do it and (following your logic) should not even have done it in the first place. It reminds me of a certain synagogue ruler who said that there are six days during which to be healed, just don't do it on the Sabbath!

I appreciate your suggestion Philana but this would have worked differently than what I intended. A website link does not grab attention as a topic does. Nevertheless, I appreciate the kindness of your posting tone and intent.

I will leave it at that. Grace and peace to all who love Christ out of a pure heart.
