Can't figure out how to split screen

I have a Samsung Galaxy Note with the Logos Android app Version 1.0.3, Build 40.  I have read on these forums about split-screen capabilities, but can't figure out how to do it on my phone.  I read that there's supposed to be a quarter-circle that you can drag, but there's not one on my screen.  If I hold down on one of the corners and try to drag it, the overlay that shows the verse at the top and action, favorites, etc. shows up at the bottom.  From the home screen, if I bring up the settings there is a "Link Panels" option which is enabled, so I don't think it's not supported on this version or anything.  Please help!

I split the screen, drug the little split screen icon to the top of the page and now I can't get it to move

Try restarting the app and opening a different resource.
