Quicker navigation WITHIN a book of the Bible
I'd like to see a navigation option that allows us to navigate within a Bible book more quickly. If I need to get from Proverbs 2 to Proverbs 30, I either have to type in the address bar or use the verse picker, starting with the book of the Bible, even though I'm staying in the same book. I'm thinking something simple like when you go to the verse picker, make the bar above the books tappable (the one that says "Book" at the top)...when you tap it, it understands that you want to stay in the book that you are currently in. This may not seem like a big deal, but a simple change like this would shave several seconds off the process of changing to a different chapter and verse in the same book since we wouldn't have to spend time scanning the book chooser looking for the book we are in (and I do know my Bible very well as far as locating the book I want quickly, but unless you know the layout of the books in the verse picker very well, it still takes a few seconds to find the one you are looking for.) The closer we can get to the speed of navigating in a paper Bible, the better. Effectively eliminating the first of three taps when staying in the same book would help to that end.
I'm also hoping that we'll see the improved verse picker from the FaithLife app make its way to the Logos app (color-coding and seeing book, chapter, and verse grids side-by-side on the iPad.)

Don't mean to "resurrect" this problem, but I totally agree with your viewpoint. Since Logos is a digital resource, it should out-perform a paper Bible on verse navigation. Unfortunately, I can still flip my regular Bible from Romans 9 to Romans 11 faster than on my Logos iPhone app. I also understand there is a "verse" icon on the iPad app, but not the iPhone.
That is also why OliveTree has championed the navigation method on their iPhone app. Once you tap the "go to" icon on top, a navigation panel with separate "book", "chapter", and "verse" icon show up. I can tap the "chapter" icon once and it takes me there already.

I also understand there is a "verse" icon on the iPad app, but not the iPhone.
I'm not sure what exactly you are looking for… but let me see if I can help. In "reading view" on the iPhone app, when you swipe "downwards," the navigation menu appears. On the upper right is the circle "i" icon… just below that is an icon which looks like a "left justify" icon… If you press that button, a menu will pop up to help you navigate through your bible.
Is that what you were looking for?

No, I can navigate through the Bible just fine. The question here is navigating through verses or chapters WITHIN a book of the Bible, say, Romans. How can we navigate from one chapter to another within that book without tapping through the "verse picker" screen, identify the book of Romans, and then select a different chapter. To me there is redundancy in the whole process...

It would be nice if a two finger swipe left/right moved forward/backward one chapter (in any resource type). Very intuitive and very useful.
It would also be nice if the verse picker allowed you to press anywhere, move your finger around the screen with the selection following your finger, and then navigating when you release your finger. It would feel a little more accurate. I have smallish fingers but still find I occasionally tap the wrong book/chapter/verse.

Yes ... the Olivetree method's been a winner for many years. It seems like others would copy it, it's so easy to use.

How do I go about to let Logos know of this, so they may be able to change their iPhone interface on the next app upgrade?
