I'm running the latest beta w/L4 Mac and have run into crashing issues. As soon as I open the program and click any menu item, the program crashes. Please advise!
Thanks,
Terry
Terry - You will need to post logs for anyone to help you. Please see the wiki: http://wiki.logos.com/Diagnostic_Logging#Mac
Here are my logs:

Terry - Thanks for posting those logs… unfortunately logging wasn't enabled. One option is to download a script another user wrote to assist in turning logging on & off. You can download that HERE. Once you download the script, its just a matter of a couple of clicks & you can turn it on or off at will.

Terry - I am not a full member of the techie club, but your log looks a little meager to me. I was able to see the following though:
06/11/2012 19:05:58 | ERROR | 1 | LogosApplication | Current assembly version is '4.52.0.2208'; previously-run assembly version was '4.53.0.2109' (4.5c Beta 3); aborting launch.
It seems to me that Logos is expecting 4.53 (4.5c beta 3), but is finding 4.52 instead. Have you had 4.5c up and running yet, or did you just install it?

Once a Logos Beta release has been launched, your SQLite database files are updated so using older stable release fails to launch. If want to downgrade from beta to a stable release, wiki Mac Troubleshooting has => Want to downgrade from Beta to Stable
Caveat: Logos 4.5b has a number of known regressions => Feature Parity so both 4.5c Beta 3 (current Beta) and 4.5b SR-3 (current stable) have a variety of buggy issues. If want to downgrade to Logos 4.5a SR-1 on Mac, can use this download link
Other option is downloading current Beta release => Update Error then updating your Logos Bible Software 4 application.
Personally looking forward to Logos 4.5c Beta 4 release soon (noticed Logos has replied about a number of fixes being included in Logos 4.5c Beta 4).
Another option is using two Mac users: one has stable release while the other has beta release. Personally have Logos 4.5a SR-1 and Logos 4.5c Beta 3 on my iMac; the beta application is in my documents folder while stable Logos 4.5a SR-1 is in the Applications folder.
Keep Smiling [:)]
Thanks guys for your help. I re-downloaded the latest beta as advised but when I start the program and click on anything, it crashes. I'm attaching the logs in case someone has the time/energy to analyze and come up w/a solution.
Thanks for everything!

Did you try opening to a blank layout? Immediately after starting the app, hold down the command key. The log in box will appear. Check the "load a blank layout" box. If that works, build a new layout.
I looked through your logs (there was much more than before), but I couldn't get much out of them. I'm still using my training wheels. [:)]

Personally still living and learning. Noticed a number of "Failed to read past end of stream." errors before Logos 4 Mac crashed; looking forward to Logos assistance (sent an email to Logos 4 feeback).
Hey alabama24, I appreciate your help. I did as you suggested but again, when I click anything, program crashes.
I showed your logs to Development and it was suggested that you try reindexing your library. (We wanted to wait until 4.5c Beta 4 had shipped to tell you to do so, since there are some improvements to indexing that should make it significantly quicker to do so now.) If you're still experiencing this issue after reindexing, please let us know.
