Right now, we don't have very good control of the panel boundaries/size. When we adjust the borders, instead of being precise in how large we want them when they move, they move a fairly large predetermined amount. On my 21.5 inch screen, they move like a half inch or more with each predetermined increment! That's pretty ridiculous. We should be able to size them more accurately than that. The lack of control as of now frequently causes items to be either too big or too small for me. This can be somewhat annoying on my more compulsive days. Seems like this would be quite a simple improvement too, so there isn't any reason for this not to be implemented.
(I'm not sure, but this may be a Mac issue. In watching videos of Windows users, it seemed like they had better control. However, maybe I remember incorrectly.)
