Bug: Doesn't connect to refresh homepage after working offline

Hello there,

This has happened quite a few times. I notice that once I've logged into Logos offline due to no internet connection,the next time I open it, it doesn't refresh the homepage how many ever times I restart it - even after setting the "Connect to internet" option off , restarting, setting it on, restarting again. Or trying "Update now" or anything like that. Sometimes after a few days of this, it resets automatically but not sure why though.

You know that you have to restart Logos after you've changed the setting, right?

I just purchased the software and didn't know that but I've tried the following without success:

Restart the computer
Hold the control key down while opening the program
Loading the software on two other computers
Deleting the software on the original computer and reloading it
Reset preferences several times to original settings

All of this with no success. In preferences it shows that it's connected to the internet and auto download. I'm not a techie but it appears that I'm logged into the server with the option to "work offline." I did read that sometimes after a few days it seems to solve itself.

Hi Robert,

Do you have an email listed on the Ribbon at the top of the Logos 4 window when Logos 4 is open to the Homepage? Please don't write it here, but is it the same as the email connected to your account you're using to post here in the forums? I don't see a corresponding account on our back-end (that would be where the licenses are) connected to the email you used to to post in the forums

Thanks for the question. Maybe that's the problem. My wife bought this for me for Father's Day and she might have used her email (probably did) when she purchased it. I do have my email account posted on top of the home page and it's the same as the one I'm using to post this reply.
