In pursuing another thread—Modern maps in Biblical places—discovered that it is practically impossible to coordinate Biblical Places with Google Maps.
First of all, the cursor is a hand rather than a pointer. Now a hand is great for moving the map in the window, but lousy when attempting to click on a location. This makes the Google link in the upper right of little value.
If I move the hand around until I get a definition popup and then click, the coordinates come closer to the actual location. However, that is the heel of the hand and not the fingers as one would naturally expect. It is also somewhat displaced from the dot on the map.
