Speed, Scrolling.

Just re-asking a question from a long time back: are there any plans to improve Speed of application and fix the Scrolling issues?

I seem to remember that being able to ask for Improvement in the speed was removed from the page where needs could be voted on. Does this mean what we have is pretty much as good as it's going to get? It's not completely horrible, just not good.

Scrolling though is still pretty horrible, constant over-runs, slow, and "buggy" for lack of a better descriptor.

Just thought I would ask if there are any actual "plans" to fix these things with: timetables, fixed goals etc?

Hi Charles,

I can't answer your questions regarding development plans for scrolling, but I can testify to it being pretty precise on my MacBook Pro when just one bible is open. I don't have any highlights or notes on it, and it isn't linked to anything. Do you have the book you are scrolling in when the behavior occurs linked to others? Are there a decent amount of highlights/notes on it? I'm trying to get a feel as to what factors are giving us different experiences.

Couple of linked texts ( Commentary ). No, no highlights, tried that, Not doing it again until they get those fixed. Been following those issues and it seems they are getting better, perhaps close even, but still not completely. ( Thus you having to ask if I was using any-smile)

To perhaps be more helpful: I do not turn "on" anything-ANYTHING unless I am going to be directly interacting with those things at that particular time. I try to leave everything as clean as possible to help with scrolling, speed, management of Ram by Logos.

I have not even done much with Favorites or Prioritization as Logos does not seem to like being worked with. I have watched all the videos, tried some things, bad things happen, so I just keep it really simple and use Logos mostly as a book reader.

FWIW everyone I know with Logos has these issues.
