Speed in reading on iPad

When I have notes turned on using iPad or iPhone it can take as much as a minute to move to the next page. Anything I attempt to do can take over a minute.

When notes are turned off it operates as normal.

Is this to be expected?

Is this because I have too many notes?

Joe, I notice no real lag in turning pages, but I have few note files showing and have downloaded the Bible text I am using.

Notes have to be synced for each page so if you have many of them, the speed of rendering a new page will go down. Your connection speed will also make a difference at this point.

Try unchecking most of your note files and see if your speed improves.

Maybe you need an iPad with a faster processor.

I have not experienced this behavior at all. How many notes are we talking about?
