It's good that this is being made available, but 4 of the 6 books in the collection are already available from Vyrso. And they are still available, so I'm wondering if the pre-pub will ever get enough orders when people can buy those individual volumes already:
I think we can assume that the Vyrso licenses will be upgraded to Logos licenses when (if) the collection is produced (as mentioned in the thread about the D.A. Carson collection).
They've all disappeared from the Vyrso site so I guess they've answered that question...
That was a stealth answer, but quick! (as they were all there when I posted, and gone within 5 minutes of my post)
Would that all questions were addressed as quickly. [6]
Anyone got any thoughts on whether these types of resources are substantially different from the Vyrso products, as I thought Logos had made clear that Vyrso resources were quite different from Logos resources? Although both are usable in Logos, the Vyrso resources are based on unaltered electronic files from publishers, and thereby cheaper and quicker to produce, not tagged and not edited regarding typos, etc. My understanding was that Logos files were built from the ground up, using page scans, and introduced tagging where appropriate.
I do not recall Logos saying Vyrso would be "second-class" in quality. It is just that teen novellas and Christian fiction don't require a lot of tagging. Scanning is only necessary when your source material is the printed page. Most modern books are created in digital form first so the scanning stage also drops off the development costs. There are likely less (or no) footnotes, and page counts are far shy of the 10,000 page theological tomes on the Logos side. Vyrso books are generally a lot cheaper to produce. Logos passes that savings on to us! [:D]

I'm sorry, I forgot to answer the question. [:$] "Are they different?"
It has not been uncommon for a resource that is available in Logos to be removed from the catalog and resurface later. Sometimes it is a contractual issue with the publisher but other times it is for upgrading purposes and true enhancements are made. Many Logos titles get substantial upgrades in content and improved features upon revision. The Seventh Day Adventist Commentary, and The Collegeville Catholic Reference Library are examples.
I am surprised to find some books on Vyrso that seem to fit better in Logos. Dr. Walter Martin's Kingdom of the Occult is on Vyrso for a great price. It may sell more copies if it were "shelved" in the Logos website instead of Vyrso. Could it be Logos believes Michael Horton's books will sell better from the Logos website? I know I am interested in the Pre-Pub collection and discovered it there rather quickly. But I had no idea Vyrso ever offered any of them. So even if it was nothing more than a tactical sales decision, and no enhancements are made, it makes sense to me.
