If I buy Scholars Library now, can I later on upgrade to the Gold Library?

I'm considering buying the Scholars Library, but am not sure if later on I need resources that are in the Gold package. So my question is: If I buy Scholars Library now, can I later on upgrade to the Gold Library? And if that is possible, do you just pay the difference in price?

I believe you end up paying close to the difference in price. I believe right now they have an additional discount going on. I don't know how long that will last, though.
