Searching issue

In searching the reference books - Systematic Theology – both Erickson and Chafer

 

I want to do a search on the word “practice” and not get hits on the word “practical”. 

 

If I do a search on the word ‘practice’ (without quotes) I get results with “practice”, “practices”, “practical”, “practiced”, etc.  I don’t want “practical”. When I do a search without any limits I get 180 results.

 

I just want “practice”.

 

So, I enter the search expression (practice ANDNOT practical) and it gives me no hits.

 

I enter the search expression “nostem(practice)” and it gives me no hits.

 

I enter the search expression “exact(practice)” and it gives me no hits.

 

What am I doing wrong?

Click on the magnifier glass icon and uncheck "Match all word forms"
