Lots of trash files found

After downloading the latest version 4.5C I decided to do some routine maintenance. Well I changed that routine slightly and decided to run the Trash utility in Onyx. Quite surprised over the number of discarded Logos files it cleared out. Close to a half gig in all it seems. I don't know if that was from the install or what, but I was happy to get the disk space back.

Anyone else know if this is an ongoing deal or just from installing? My thought was the latter, but it would be nice to know if I should do it each time i fire up Onyx.

Hi Michael

I think that both Logos and Proclaim put the old application in the folder (not the Numbers program) each time that they update the old one. After each update I tend to check the folder and it. This saves using third party utilities.

I'm aware of the Logos program going in the Trash on a program update, but this appeared to be a whole bunch of component files that were displayed in Onyx.The size was substantially bigger than just the program file.

That is interesting - does Onyx give us a file path name for any of these files?

Yes it does for everything it deletes, but I didn't pay too much attention to them; I'll have to watch more closely the next time I do it. It's possible that the Logos installer now does this automatically, but it's the first time I've seen component files being jettisoned.
