Bulletpoints

Hi is there any way to have the numbers continue in a sequence instead of going to 1. every time?

First i made two bullet points

Then I went back to the first one and hit return, this creates another bullet point between the first two... I indented this one to the right

The numbers continue in series around the new middle point

There may be a simpler way but i don't know of one
