Where do I put the serial number?!?

So I have Libronix 3.0g. I installed it, and restored Licenses that I had from another computer.

And I have a new product (The Preachers' Commentary), but I have no idea where to put the serial number.

I copied the files across in License Management. I also went to Tools > Account Management but there doesn't seem to be any place there to put a serial number here: it only wants to update contact details, and synchronise licenses.

Help!!

If you follow the normal installation process, which does more than just copy the files, then when you next start Logos 3 you should be prompted for the serial number as described in the entry below from the help...

Enter Serial Numbers

Each Libronix DLS product comes with a unique serial number, which can be used by only one customer. This helps reduce software piracy and illegal copying of program and product discs.

The serial number for your product can be found on the product packaging. Enter it, then click Next to continue the installation of the product.

If that is not happening the product may have been preregistered to your account or you may already have the resources, you can check the state of the licenses using the account summary as follows:

Product Activations

The Product Activations section shows all products with serial numbers that have been activated. Activation is the process by which each unique serial number is associated with only one Customer ID. This helps reduce software piracy and illegal copying of program and product discs.

Ahhh success...

Killing the LibSys.Exe process, and running AutoUpdate.lbxupd from the CD was the thing that did it in the end. Thanks for your help!

Well done, Andrew.

LibSys.exe is crucial to a number of menu operations in L3 but it is not always closed by Windows 7. I now check if it has closed after I exit L3!
