Old Testament Quotes

Is there an easy way to find out if a passage is quoting from the old testament? I am attempting to find out every instance where the tetragrammaton is dropped in the the new testament when quoting the old.

It's a bit of a problem if I recall correctly. The NT often is quoting the LXX which has already replaced the teragammaton with "lord". But I'd start with the Commentary on the New Testament Use of the Old Testament.
Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

In addition to MJ's recommendation, you could try Old Testament Quotations and Allusions in the New Testament and Old Testament Quotes in the New Testament. Those are different resources despite the similar names.

If you look at this thread, you will see some suggested workarounds for getting a visual filter to display OT quotes in the NT.

The various UBS4 versions have an OT quotation search field.
From the intro:
As most students of the Greek New Testament know, there are several instances of quotes from Old Testament literature within the New Testament. The convention to differentiate these quotations is the use of bold text. Examples of Old Testament passages quoted within the New Testament can be found in Matthew 4:4–7 and Matthew 4:15–16.
These instances of Old Testament quotations have been encoded as fields within this Logos Bible Software edition of the UBS4 text. The field name is OTQuote. Therefore, one may now use a search string like “OTQuote:ονομα” to locate all instances of the word ονομα within Old Testament quotations."If myth is ideology in narrative form, then scholarship is myth with footnotes." there's a resource called old testament quotes in the NT and one with allusions and the NT. starting there might help.

The NASB puts quotes in ALL CAPS. Of course, there is some amount of judgment call involved as to what is a quote vs. what is a paraphrase or reference. Still, I find the ALL CAPS practice to be quite useful. I assume you don't use NASB much or you would know this. I recommend opening a copy of NASB and setting a tab next to your usual fave bible. Be sure to set a link between the two. A simple tab click will clue you in to whether there is an OT quote in the section you are reading.
