Using Resources that I already have

I just downloaded the "free" version of faithlife and notices there are many resources I don't have already (Gold), and "need" to access the added features. My question is can I use and / or replace there resource, such as the AYBD with one in my own library that I already own? This would help me to utilize and become better familiar with what I already have than having to go buy new resources. Thanks.

Sorry - but the links in FSB to these types of resources are "hard-coded" and can't be changed

I don't know what would be involved to make these links more generic - and I believe it has been discussed previously - but I doubt if it will happen in the short-term if at all.

And your idea is a great one. I can't speak for Logos, but I suspect that is exactly what they are encouraging (though as Graham notes, not hard-linked). But I often use other dictionaries where AYBD is referenced).

The Anchor Yale dictionary is sort of a go-to for scholarly discussion; other dictionaries are similar. But what you have is the most important. If indeed you wish to expand your Logos library in this area AYBD is one of the best since it combines a normal dictionary with theological summaries and archaeological as well. Sort of an 'all-in-one'.

Thanks, I kind of figured that since LOGOS is trying to sell resources and all, but I do hope they would at least give you the option. It would be helpful and I would be more willing to spread the word about the resource that doesn't put limits on my study options.
