I am looking at purchasing some resources on Jehovah Witness below. If anyone has these can they let me know if they all contain basically the same info. And if you had to buy one which would it be.
I already have the Jehovah Witness resource in the June Hunt Counseling Collection

Thanks,

No, they do not contain indentical material, but it does overlap. I have all of them, but I would go with verse by verse volume if I could have only one.

These are hardly JW resources. They are anti-JW materials. Did you ever consider getting materials in which they set forth their own position? Opponents aren't always 100% accurate. [No, I'm not JW]

George you are on point.
I am not a jw either but I am in agreement.. The best way is to talk to some personally, and ask them what they believe. There is also the watchtower library that has all their books, which you have to pick up at one of their halls. I also use norman geislers book- when cultist ask

This is a very cheap, and resourceful apologetic library
Thanks for all the comments.
I should have been more specific in my original post. I was looking for resources that give the "anti" perspective. (I don't think that Logos offers pro JW resources, but if they do let me know).
George, I agree with you 100% that the best way to learn what someone / group believes is to read their literature and talk to them. I am in the process of gathering "pro" JW resources as well. Thanks for keeping me balanced.

What specific topic are you looking into with regards to the the watchtower teachings?
The author of these books is David Reed, a former JW and Harvard grad. These titles basically discuss Watchtower mishandling of Scripture and doctrinal errors (they are modern day Arians). All these books are very good and were part of collection that included one other work, which is a “must have” volume. That is: http://www.logos.com/product/1494/how-to-rescue-your-loved-one-from-the-watch-tower
How to Rescue . . . is essential because (a) it reveals Watchtower training and tactics for recruitment, so you can see what you are up against; (b) discusses pros and cons of different approaches to reach JW’s, and (c) provides photocopies of key Watchtower publications – “the evidence”. I have several hundred hours invested in studying the Watchtower, and have acquired a small collection of their publications, e.g. Awake, and have their New World Translation, which I use in speaking with JW’s. Even though the NWT is perverted (e.g. John 1:1 “. . . the Word was a god”; Colossians 1:16 “. . . all other things were created . . . “), it is an effective tool with JW’s because the NWT translators missed changing important verses for the gospel, and the JW's have to struggle with the conflict they present, because it is their bible. They see how I have highlighted various passages and the investment made in trying to understand their materials. Based on my discussions with the random door knockers and six evenings in my home with a leader of the local Kingdom Hall, I found Reed’s books are excellent preparation for JW discussions. There is no way an outsider (a non-JW) could unearth the information that Reed experienced as an insider. It is easy to be confident about standing on his shoulders, because he sources so many points in JW publications and provides copies of many of the documents for the reader. The Watchtower message doesn’t change much. Ask the door knockers where they are from, the message are similar, even when they are from another state.
P.S. the JW errors described in the four books you mentioned are available, at least in part, for free at many websites. Whereas, How to Rescue is unique as far as I know.
Edited.
Good comments. I also agree that we should engage people from their own texts when possible.
l have an opportunity to interact with a young JW adherent to some depth. It would be useful for Logos to offer the New World Translation in order to better compare texts, especially with the Greek. I wonder if there are copyright restrictions that would prevent this.
Those resources will help you because the author is a former JW. Personally, get all of them. I have spoken to JW's on many occasions and these books have helped me, but they are so stubborn and brained washed that they are trained to talk your ear out and not to listen because they consider all of us "apostates." Plus, they are under the idea that "they receive new revelation" and that it doesn't matter if you point out their doctrinal errors of the past, those don't really count because pretty much "the new update" (as one put it) excuses them and takes care of your objections. Pray for JW's because as Paul said, "they will always study, but will never come to the knowledge of the truth" (2 Timothy 3:7)due to the rules and regulations of the "tower."
Blessing!
