Changing from Logos 3 PC to Logos 4 Mac

I have been running Logos 3 on an (pretty ancient) PC laptop. I have just bought a Mac book pro and would like to buy Logos 4. If I click on the upgrade option on the website through my profile (which has been set up for Logos 3 PC) and order a Logos 4 base package upgrade DVD will I be able to install it? ie. Will I be sent a DVD that is Mac Compatible, or will in automatically recognise me as a PC user and send me a PC disk?

In 2009, Logos changed licensing to only charge for resources.

Wiki Getting Started with Logos has => Installation + Indexing that includes link to Logos 4 Mac Installer

In Logos 3, recommend syncing licenses. Then sign in to Logos 4 with the same account. If have stable internet connection, one option is downloading Logos 4 application and all your Logos resources.

May want to consider Logos 4 minimal crossgrade => http://www.logos.com/minimalcrossgrade to purchase many resources updated for Logos 4.

I, too, would recommend the 'minimal cross grade' as a starting point. This will give you the 'free' Logos 4 engine with all its refinements and allow you to download the Logos 3 resources (updated for Logos 4) into your system.

Once you have had a play with Logos 4 and reviewed the adequacy of the resources that you have you will be in a better position to decide what you need to expand your library.

Steer clear of DVD's - Logos is a fast moving program and all things are better installed from the web.
