CRASH! 4.5c SR-2 crashing whenever I try to open a panel menu!

Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this problem as well. I updated to the latest version of L4 and it immediately began to be very disagreeable! Whenever I click on a panel menu L4 crashes. I have also had problems trying to open items from the library in a floating window. Anyone else having the same difficulties?

I also updated to 4.5c SR 2 this morning. Sorry but I am not having any of the problems you describe.

I found the problem. I had edited the registry value so that windows menus would open faster. When I did that i didn't pay close enough attention to what I was doing, and had an incompatible value down. I fixed that and we are good to go. Thanks for the willingness to help!

Ah, yes. I am glad you were able to fix that! I am curious about the registry edit you did. Is there a page you referenced to do that?

The regedit came from a Maximum PC Magazine. The edit will shorten the pause before Windows opens a menu or expands the menu. Launch regedit and then go to

HKey_Current_User\Control Panel\Desktop.

Double click MenuShowDelay and change the value to whatever you like. I find 200 works good, but you can try going lower. No negatives though as that is what messed up my Logos menus. Enjoy!
