I'd like to move Libronix 3.0 from my old laptop to my new laptop along with all my notes. What steps do I follow to do this?
I believe you can still download the engine from Logos, but you will need to copy your notes and other personal files to copy onto the new computer. I would also suggest that you copy all of your resources to transfer to the new computer since, although you can download them from the ftp site, it is much easier to simply copy them over without needing to search through the listings to download them. Don't forget to copy not only your annotations but your collections and other files associated with L3. Most of all, don't forget your license file. I would suggest that you attach it to an email to mail to yourself and store online in your saved mail in case something should ever happen to the one on your computer. Be sure to note where all of the files are located so that you will know where to replace everything.
Jeff, the easy process is:
1. Backup your resource directory
2. Backup your user directory (notes, highlights, etc)
3. Backup your licenses (!!)
4. Install Libronix3g on your new laptop (see WIKI reference below for the link)
5. Copy your backed up resources back to your resource directory on your new computer
6. Copy your user data back to the user directory on your new directory
7. Open Libronix and RESTORE your licenses from your backup file (most critical)
8. Then re--start (though most often not needed)
Where your Libronix is, and where your user data is, depends on if you're in XP or Windows7?
XP: c:\Program Files\Libronix DLS\Resources <== backup your books XP: c:\Documents and Settings\YOUR-ACCOUNT\My Documents\Libronix DLS\ <== backup your user data W7: c:\Program Files (x86)\Libronix DLS\Resource <== backup your booksW7: c:\users\YOUR-ACCOUNT\My Documents\Libronix DLS\ <=== backup your user data

Thank you George and DMB for your responses. I will give this all a try.
George, both yours and DMB's suggestions went smooth as silk! I was up and running in about a half hour with my workspaces and notes all on the new computer looking and working just like before. Thank you!

Great ! I'm glad to hear that all went well.
