Expositional Preaching using Notes function

Hey Friends,

Perhaps this can be done, and I just don't know the best method, but I have often struggled with writing sermon notes without 1) typing a paper only to rely heavily on the notes during a sermon 2) scratching some commentary on a post-it and affixing it to my bible 3) opening up microsoft word pasting the text, and struggling to find a way to use footnotes margins columns, or recently inserting comments.  I'd love to know if Logos can have an export or preview function, so that you could go through and make notes on a text and then print the text with the notes out to the side, so you can read the text and teach/preach expositionally from the same paper with your commentary or notes right beside it.

Any thoughts or recommendations?

Hi, Derek:

It's doable, sort of. It was easier in Logos3, when the export would also contain the verse text too. Logos4 only contains the note text.

1. Open a blank Word document

2. In the Notes panel of Logos4, click Full to see all the note text.

3. Press [Ctrl+P] to export. You will see an export window.

4. Click Paste into open Word document.

5. The resulting document will be a Word table, which you can turn into text for easier editing, if you want.

6. Edit to suit yourself, adding verses, deleting unwanted notes, and so forth.
