Even if we may not all agree on TULIP, can we all agree on this new theological paradigm?
As suggested by Leonard Sweet.
I assume that Leonard Sweet is neither a Platonist nor Aristotelian but a Baconist?
Actually, he is on the faculty of Drew University and George Fox University. He is the author of over 40 books (per Wikipedia) and a frequent commentator on our society from a non-traditional evangelical perspective. See the list in Amazon or in his Wikipedia entry. I would like to see a collection of his books in VYRSO - since they are more geared to reading than Bible study.
Here is his biography from Wikipedia:
Before becoming the E. Stanley Jones Professor of Evangelism, Sweet had been Vice President of Academic Affairs andDean of the Theological School at Drew from 1995 to 2000. Prior to his appointments at Drew University, he served asPresident and Professor of Church History at United Theological Seminary, Dayton, Ohio. His first academic administration position was as Provost and AssociateProfessor of Church History at Colgate Rochester Divinity School/Bexley Hall/Crozer Theological Seminary.
Sweet is founder and President of SpiritVenture Ministries. His writings focus on the study of Semiotics.
He is the author of more than forty books, hundreds of articles (many of a scholarly and technical nature), and over 50 prefaces/forewords to others' books. He has over 1000 published sermons, and currently is the chief weekly contributor to the lectionary-based sermons.com. Sweet has weekly podcasting on iTunes entitled Napkin Scribbles.
Sweet has served a term on the council of the American Society of Church History and was an associate editor of the Journal of the American Academy of Religion for ten years. An honors and Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of Richmond, he earned his Master of Divinity degree from Colgate/Rochester/Bexley Hall/Crozerand Ph.D from the University of Rochester. Sweet is the recipient of honorary Doctorates of Divinity from University of Richmond, Baker University, Lebanon Valley College, and Otterbein College.
Sweet lectures around the world and has spoken in various locations including China, Indonesia, Taiwan and Hong Kong; Australia, New Zealand; Canada, Brazil,South Africa, South Korea, Russia, Latvia, Iceland, and Scotland.
There are additional details that I found interesting on his author's page on AMAZON.COM. Though I have only recently discovered that he had roots here in Rochester, NY, where I live, I have found him to be an amazing spokesman and interpreter of our 21st century culture.
I would like to see a collection of his books in VYRSO - since they are more geared to reading than Bible study.

Oops - yep, that's the guy. Glad to see them here.
Love it! (Although I'm more of a TUP than a TULIP Calvinist... which, of course, means that I'm somewhere between Amenianism and Calvinism)
I think the TUP describes me as well.
This is labeled as humor...so, am I safe in assuming that this is intended as a joke? Or is it a seriously offered scheme?
Probably ...
