How Can I Get Back My Horizontal Two Column View?
For some reason I can never figure out how I get in this view, and how to get out of it. I am trying to read my ESV Notes resource and I accidentally pulled the corner panel to where it showed the ESV and the notes book side by side. When I pull the ESV panel back to the right, it left my ESV Notes resource in one giant column.
I did this once before but can't figure out how I got it back. I tried using the fonts column option to change it from "auto" to something like 2 or 3 but it doesn't do anything but leave the book in one giant column (this is in horizontal viewing of course).
Any suggestions would be super, thanks. Scott

Try reducing the font size. Above where you select 2 columns there is a sliding button, move it to the left.

Scott - I am not quite sure I follow your question/problem. Alan's advice to select a smaller point size is a good one. I should also add that sometimes multiple columns isn't possible because of formatting issues (such as large headings or tables, graphs, etc). If this doesn't answer your question, perhaps a screen shot would help us.

There is a quirk of the display engine that causes it to show a resource in one column if it has loaded some part of that resource with a line to big to break into multiple columns. You'll often see this with a heading for 1 Thessalonians. Try navigating around the resource if this may be the case.

Dave, thanks SO much! That did it. I navigated away from the location I was in to farther down in the book, then went back and it put it back in a 2 column view. Probably why I couldn't figure out how i fixed it last time since i didn't know how i fixed it.
Thanks again! Scott
