can I add a link to a Scripture that will take me to a specific piece of text in one of my commentar

I want to be able to add a note to a passage of Scripture that links to a particular place in one of my commentaries, is this possible?
I know that I could just copy the portion of commentary text into a note file but that seems a little clumsy.
Thanks

Hi David,
We can't add a hyperlink directly to a scripture passage which takes us to another book.
But when we add a note to a scripture passage, we can in the note create a hyperlink in the note which will take us to another book (commentary if you like). Please see the wiki article for instruction: Adding Hyperlinks in your note
Once the hyperlink is in your note, if you hold down the Ctrl key and click on the link in the note file, Logos4 will open the book to your link (if the book is already open, then Logos4 will just reposition the book to your link).
hope this helps.
EDIT: if you need more details or an example, just let us know.

Thanks Steve,
it's a shame I have to make another note file to do it rather than create a hyperlink direct from one text to another but this way will do just fine.
Thanks for the help.

Instead of making new note files each time that you want to cross-link, you could just create a single Note file for cross-linking. Then when ever you just want to cross-link, add the note to your scripture passage to that note file. BTW when you click on a note indicator in your Bible, Logos4 will open your Note file to the specific note. This makes it easy to get to your cross-link.
i do agree with you that it would really be great if we could create cross-links in our books.

Thanks again for the advice, I already do that with my Bible notes I just think that sometimes I have so many different color note indicators all over my Bible that it can start to look a little cluttered in places[:)]
