Microsoft announced Office 2013 today with a consumer preview version (I have not downloaded because I am loathe to register etc. for it - it will be available otherwise, soon enough). One of its new features is editing PDFs! You can save in PDF form or in Word form (which of course is the input to building Personal Books in Logos). I am optimistic Microsoft will do a good job on this as it moves documents out of PDF and into Word format!
