Biblical places - need help

I would like to display a map without the information bar at the top and the additional maps selection at the bottom (or at least resize the bars). I hook it up via HDMI TV for my bible study group and we need to see more of the map itself.

I am using Logos 4 and running on a Macbook Pro OS 10.7.4

Hello Lorraine,

I'm sorry, but there is no way to remove the information bar at the top of the Biblical Places panel. If the issue is that the image is a little small, then you can zoom in with the scroll wheel on your mouse, or with a two finger swipe if you are on a track pad.

If all you need is the map itself - right-click on the map and select send to PowerPoint or Send to Keynote and it will copy the map and place it in a presentation. You could then just show the presentation rather than projecting Logos. Obviously the downside is that you lose the interactive nature of the maps in Logos, but you eliminate the tool bar on top and bottom.

Of course all the images can be sent to Powerpoint in the right-click menu. Not as easy certainly but doable in a Bible class setting. And if you have a tablet PC you can draw diagrams all over the maps (which helps a lot).

For my lazy self, I wrote code to allow dumping a stack of them into an html to bring back in as a PB for easy scrolling etc. The motivation was scrolling all the images surrounding Malvern Hill. That McClellan was such a nut-case.
