Linking Lexham Analytical Lexicon to Louw-Nida numbers in reverse interlinear

I'm just starting to get my feet wet learning the new features in L4 and had a question.

Is there an easy way to link the Lexham Analytical Lexicon to be a resource opened when clicking on the Louw-Nida numbers within the reverse interlinears and other morph tagged Greek texts?

I do not have the standard Louw-Nida book, but since the Lexham AL is linked to Louw-Nida numbers, being able to pull that lexicon data when mousing over or clicking the Louw-Nida number would be great.

The Lexham Analytical Lexicon uses LN references to split definitions into subentries. The problem is that there could be several entries proper for one particular LN reference.

So we don't currently support what you ask (Lexham Analytical Lexicon as a destination for LN references), but it is definitely a great suggestion to consider for future development of that resource. The lexicon is being updated as the final proofing pass is done on the Lexham Greek-English Interlinear New Testament, so that may be an opportunity to look into adding this type of referencing.

Man, that was a FAST response.

I have the Lexham Greek-English Interlinear and I thought that since the Analytical Lexicon was made by the same people and came out around the same time that the two would link. Unfortunately, by what you say, that is currently not the case.

Logos might want to put a disclaimer on this Lexicon letting people know about this. If I would have known this, I would have spent the few extra dollars for the "Greek-English Lexicon of the New Testament based on Semantic Domains".

Oh well, live and learn. Hopefully they will look into this type of referencing in the future.

Sorry for the confusion.

The lexicon does link with the NT. If you have prioritized the lexicon (in, say, your top five of Greek lexicons) then it'll show up on right-click, and you can link directly to it. The link isn't by Louw-Nida reference, it is actually based on what word you're clicking on in the Greek NT. So you should be able to link into the Lexham Analytical Lexicon just as you would any other Greek lexicon.

No confusion. I recently found out about prioritizing books (2 days back - haven't had a chance to go through the training videos yet - I'm a little bit slow in figuring out the features). But what I was referring to was being able to just mouse over the Louw-Nida link and have the entry popup (similar to what the Strong's Number link does), that way I do not have to open a new window for some quick information (or having it show up in the Information or Power Lookup windows).
