Is this a known problem? I try to paste into the reply box on my iPad, from both Safari and Chrome, and it does nothing.
I managed to post this, but you have to go through a bit of a rigmarole to do it. Click the "quote" link to paste the text in, then you need to click one of the buttons on the editor bar before double tapping where you want the cursor to go. I have seen it referred to somewhere in the forums, but am not sure where.
Dominick, I don't know if it is a 'known' problem. It is known to me. There do seem to be some idiosyncrasies about the Logos Forum message form that I hven't experienced in other Forums using Logos. This is one of them. Another is that you can't use the spelling corrector (the one that flags your errors like the spelling of haven't above). It won't replace with the suggested corrections. Likewise there is the frustration of not being able to correct words manually without hiding the keyboard and bringing it up again and then relocating the cursor. These things must be the fault of the underlying forum software Logos uses, or is something they need to correct on their own. Either way it is annoying and needs to be addressed. With all the effort Logos is putting into mobile apps, you expect Forum software to function well on the iPad.
