If you were trying to get it over the top before the Wednesday deadline and cost us a week of lower prices, you probably should have left a little longer than 6 minutes. Still - nice try.

Sorry it alienated some . This group is getting very hard to deal with.
The deadline was three hours before Dominick's post. If you want to throw around accusations, at least make sure they're true.
As it happens, I raised my bid about 4 minutes after the real deadline, to see if I could make it cross (and lowered it again when it didn't), so, at least at that time, one bid was not enough. [:)]
Though personally I'd be more interested in seeing Post-Reformation Catholic Thought and Piety (26 vols.) gain some momentum. (As well as the The Jewish Encyclopedia (12 vols.) and the The Catholic Encyclopedia (17 vols.).)

I can see that it's getting closer to the lower bid of $20. I'm temporarely ruined due to the sudden Hermeneia/Contintental Commentaries -offer last month (well and I have a very low income and high rent due to that I live in a modern house in a large city-area), so I wouldn't bid higher.
