Searching for imprecise Scripture

Can someone please tell me how I go about doing a search for a passage that I don't have the precise words for, but know it only in part?  For example: if I were looking for where "for God so loved the world that He gave His only......" is located, but all I can remember of the passage is something like:  "God loved the earth so very much" - is there some way of searching for this when you just don't have the passage exactly word-for-word?  

In other words, I can do a search in Yahoo with misspelled words or with only a vague idea of the thing I am looking for and yet Yahoo is usually able to take me to what I want even when my search is a bit incomplete.  Is there a way to do this type of search in Logos?

Hi Tom,

Welcome to the forums! First, let me suggest you edit your post and use the format (showmetheevidence at gmail dot com) otherwise your email can be mined by spam bots (and the weekend is usually when the forums get spammed).

I am not sure how to do a fuzzy search using a phrase. But two things might work. Don't enclose the phrase in quotes, and search all your Bibles. This might help you get a hit for the verse you are looking for. If you have your preferred translation open (and click on the resource panel - its where the cover art is) you can send the hyperlinks there. That way if the hit or phrase shows up in another translation you can still openit in your preferred one.
