Logos 4 Crashes During Initial Indexing

I loaded the Logos 4 installed from a 2009 disk which I had. My machine is Windows 7 Home Premium SP1, 64-bit, with 6 GB of RAM installed.

I logged into my account, watched as my library was prepared, and then "initial indexing" started even as 4.1 GB of updates were being downloaded. Logos stopped with this message:

I ran the compatibility troubleshooter which recommended these settings:

The program continues to crash. Any suggestions would be welcome. I am continuing the download of updates, just in case there is something in there which will help. Thanks.

Here are some questions (in no particular order) that might get you started toward a solution.

Have you ever gotten Logos installed previously?
If yes, rather than reloading from a CD-ROM disc, you might want to clean everything out and reinstall from the Web from scratch.
If you can currently launch Logos, in the command field, type: index now
This might get indexing running again.

Please post the steps you take because it might trigger an Aha! from one of the real experts.

With an old CD-ROM you will have problems with the software and just about ALL resources will be re-downloaded as they have been updated since 2009. The best solution is to update the software from this link and let it continue downloading and indexing. Don't use compatibility Mode.
