No cacheing for Highlighting\Notes? Takes forever to turn the page ...

It's great to have the beginning of a highlighting implementation in principle, but I'm afraid it's making the app hard to use. My normal reading Bible is heavily marked up and highlights are often layered, and turning the page is taking a long time.

Not only that but there appears to be no local cacheing, so it's reprocessing it every time, unless I'm mistaken.

Does this mean that if I'm working offline that highlighting will be deactivated to allow text display?

Could I request a "display highlighting" toggle option to allow normal use too?

Cheers

there seems to be local caching, as my highlights were there in airline/offline mode when I tested

What doesnt seem to be implemented yet are Visual Filters

    EDIT
You can hide the highlights as they are technically notes, but with current version of highlights and notes being in same table, toggling "show notes" obviously removes the annotation marker as well.. Toggle for highlight/markup would be nice feature

It's the highlights that are causing the problem for me - haven't tested notes extensively, but the one I did try seemed to work OK.

Currently notes and highlight happens while the page is being rendered and this does slow down overall page load time. In an upcoming beta release visual markup will be be applied after the page turn has completed.
