I want to use a slightly different style of copying verses into Word which removes all verse numbers and other notations while at the same time retaining the “Paragraph Heading”. I have recorded below the style I have produced, the results I get and the results I am looking for when copy and pasting Mark 1:1-3 from NRSV
I do not understand all the technicalities of the Copy Bible Verses Syntax..

What I get
The beginning of the good news of Jesus Christ, the Son of God.
As it is written in the prophet Isaiah,
“See, I am sending my messenger ahead of you,
who will prepare your way;
the voice of one crying out in the wilderness:
‘Prepare the way of the Lord,
make his paths straight,’ ”
What I want
The Proclamation of John the Baptist
(Mt 3:1–12; Lk 3:1–20; Jn 1:19–28)
The beginning of the good news of Jesus Christ, the Son of God.
As it is written in the prophet Isaiah,
“See, I am sending my messenger ahead of you,
who will prepare your way;
the voice of one crying out in the wilderness:
‘Prepare the way of the Lord,
make his paths straight,’ ”
Can anyone help me? Many thanks
