My IPad 3 does not auto sync with my desktop. If I read on IPad, I have to manually update my place on the desktop. If I read on the desktop I have to manually update my place on the IPad. I thought all my devices were supposed to "sync" together?
Hey John! Welcome to the forums!
Actually they do, kind of, but you need to understand how it works. If you open book "A" on one of your devices (desktop or mobile), it should open to the same spot on the other device (desktop or mobile). The key, however, is that the resource needs to be closed. If your resource was already open in a saved layout, Logos assumes you had it open there for a reason. In other words, layouts don't just save the "shape" and "position" of the boxes, it also saves the resource location.
Another thing to remember is that with the mobile app there is always two panels. Even if you only see one, the other is hidden behind it. Make sure the resource in question isn't one of the two.
FYI - There is a better place to ask questions and get answers about the mobile app - the iOS forum. Feel free to stop by if you have other questions. [:)]

I didn't know that. Thanks.
I do know that even if the books are open you can click the synchronize icon on the upper right of your screen in Logos and it will sync your ipad.
