Re-ordering notes

This may have been suggested already, but I didn't see it.

I would like to be able to re-order the smaller notes within a note. If possible by dragging and dropping. I've been using the "Add Note" button to add a sermon point or thought to the main note based on the text.

The way I've been trying to organize sermon notes with logos is to jot down my thoughts as I'm studying. Then as I do final prep I'll reorganize them as I think the Lord is leading me. I may move one of the points to the end that was at the beginning (that type of thing).

What I've been doing is using iWork Pages and using copy cut and paste. If there was an easier way within logos itself I'd be more than open to trying it. I'm just more used to formatting word processors and am limited on my time for learning all of the ins and outs. I know some of this may be helped by adjusting the notes settings, I just haven't gotten that far yet.

You can already re-order the notes within a note file. Click, hold & drag to the left of the note indicator. It does take a while to learn where to hold it.

I would like to be able to select a note then move to where I want it inserted and click to drop it there without having to drag it all the way—dragging a note can be a major pain (especially if the note file is long). Cut and paste notes.

Not a bad idea. In the mean time I presume you know about the two workarounds to ease the pain:

Use Compact view to make the dragging distance shorter.
For really long files: open a second note file beside the first, drag the note over to that one, use the scroll bar 'handle' to quickly reposition the first file to where you want the note, and then drag it back over there. Not fast, but much faster than dragging across a long file, waiting for Logos' lousy scrolling to catch up.
