Logos 'uexpectedly' shuts down after I call up a previous layout. I've sent the crash reports to Apple. Any help appreciated.
I also cannot open Logos, it crashes while opening.
Hi James
You should find instructions for posting logs in my signature bar.
You turn on logging while opening and harvest the logs post crash.
Welcome [:D]
WIki Logos 4 Keyboard Shortcuts For Mac includes a tip:
If using stable Logos 4.5c release on Mac, one suggestion is contacting Logos Technical Support => http://www.logos.com/about/contact (albeit phone lines are closed on Saturday and Sunday)
The other suggestion is enabling, then posting diagnostic log files (in a compressed archive) for Logos user and employee comments. The log files should provide contextual insight about crash when opening. An idea is launching to a blank layout, then choose layout; have experienced some layouts crashing.
Could enable diagnostic logging, restart Mac, launch Logos 4 Mac. If crash repeats, then compress log files and attach to a forum reply.
Optional: download and use 5504.Logos4MacLogging.app.zip to display your logging setting, then change to enable logging.
Keep Smiling [:)]
Yes, it would be very helpful to see your log files. Gather and post them to this thread per the instructions here: http://wiki.logos.com/Diagnostic_Logging
Thanks,
I am having the same problem.
This is my attempt at trying to upload the logging info.

Looking at Logos4.log file, noticed 4.2a SR-3, version 4.21.5.0945 that was released on 23 Mar 2011. The current stable release is 4.5c SR-3, version 4.53.0.2294, which was released on 16 Jul 2012.
Appears your Logos 4 Mac has 20 unnamed collections. Noted sync manager uploaded 3 items, including "Unnamed Collection (20)", which was later followed by a crash since a key was not found in the collection.
Wiki page Logos 4 Keyboard Shortcuts For Mac includes:
Sign In tip: launch Logos 4, then quickly press and hold command key until Sign In appears (release command key), then click “Use blank layout” and/or “Work offline”, followed by clicking Sign in
An idea is launching Logos 4 Mac to a blank layout, then use Tools menu to open collections, which will create one more unnamed collection. Followed by right click on unnamed collection names, then click delete (especially for unnamed collection 20). Personally have dragged a collection tab to create a shortcut and Favorite so can open an existing collection to avoid creating an unnamed collection.
Another idea is upgrading your Logos 4 Mac application; wiki page Mac Troubleshooting has => Update Error with steps and application download link.

Thank you for the logs! I have sent you several solutions to try via email.
I tried this and the blank window will open - but then when I clicked on home it crashed. What does that show?
I also tried re-installing ML with Logos uninstalled, and then re-installing Logos, still no go
I haven't made any changes to my system other then the ML install,
One option is contacting Logos Technical Support => http://www.logos.com/about/contact who with your permission can share your desktop for remote diagnosis.
Other option is creating and attaching Logos 4 Mac diagnostic log files since a Home Page crash can have a number of causes.
Here is the log if anyone knows what this stuff means

Hi James,
Can you please post attached log files of the crash? Here is a link to instructions www.logos.com/support/mac/L4/Logging.
I'm removing the above post you made with the text from the Apple log in order to make navigation of this thread easier.
