MOST of the time, when I switch to one of my pre-selected layouts, Logos crashes. Help?
Need bit more information before anyone can assist you. See the second link in my signature for instruction of posting logs which will be necessary for anyone to know what is happening with your installation.
Additionally: What version of Logos? Which MAC OS? What do you see?
