Is there a tabloid or notebook computer that can run the full version of logos 4 software?
Did you mean netbook? I think some have run it on netbooks. Laptops/Notebook can of course. I don't believe there are any tablets that I am aware of, I think they lack the capacity to run the full software.
I am running Logos (latest version) on an ASUS Eee PC 1015PN with 2GB RAM Netbook. It will run slower on the netbook than on a desktop (unless you have an ancient desktop) but not extremely slow. My library currently has 966 resources and both desktop and netbook run a little slower than when I had about 100 resources, so the size of your library will make a difference on performance.
Tablets are usually Android or IOS, so you won't be able to install the Windows or Mac version of Logos on them. There are some touch panel tablet like notebooks out there that run the Windows operating system, and for those, you may be able to load the full Logos (4.6) version, however, before purchasing one of these specifically for Logo, it would be wise to test for compatibility.
Ultrabooks will run L4 faster than Netbooks, but they tend to be more expensive and slower than Notebooks.
I highly recommend s.t. with an i5 processor. Check out the new Samsung Series 9 Ultrabooks; if you have to have a slate device you should probably wait until Oct--I expect a lot of new touch-based hardware then. I don't use L4Win in a touch-only mode much...it is just too hard to control/highlight without a keyboard/mouse.

Dell Latitude ST is a tablet that has a AAA battery in the stylus, which greatly improves pointing accuracy (helpful for tapping letters on the on-screen keyboard). Caveat: Logos 4.5c SR-2 is slow due to the 1.5 GHz Atom processor. Also am noticing battery in stand-by mode lasts ~3 days. The Windows 7 experience index is 2.2 with the processor having the lowest score. The Solid State Disk has a 7.3 experience score.
Suggest using wiki method 1 or 2 => Quick Installation onto multiple computers to avoid indexing resources, which would take days. Before copying an existing Logos 4 installation, an option is opening favorite resources with visual filter highlighting and choosing to reduce number of active filters. Using Logos 4 while listening/interacting with sermon is viable.
One speed idea: remove Anti-Virus software if only using Logos 4 in offline mode and not connecting to any network. Also could disable wireless network adapters to improve usable battery time.

Very good information. I haven't used method 1 or 2 on the netbook for a speed increase, primarily because the current speed is slower than desktop but acceptable. It would be pretty difficult for me to implement suggestions on the 3rd paragraph because I use the netbook for remote support, but I can see where that would greatly help those who primarily use their system for Logos.
Thank you.
