I am trying to do a word study for airo (John 5:2) and need to find out how John uses it in all of his writings. Is there a way to get this info? Also is there a way to get into a chart?
Hi Joshua, welcome to the Forum!
I am trying to do a word study for airo (John 5:2) and need to find out how John uses it in all of his writings. Is there a way to get this info?
You can use Bible Word Study (found under Guides in the menubar)
1. Enter your word here [Note: for a Greek word you could use g:airo and Logos4 will show it to you in a drop down list]
2. After Logos4 searches and finds all occurrences, click in the center of the ring and Logos4 will show you all scripture references in the list below the Ring.
3. Slowly scroll in the list looking for occurrences in John, 1,2,3 John, Revelation [pay close attention in the list, each form found will have its own list of Bible references]
in the list, here are a few of the uses found in John's writings
Translated as Take
Translated as Took
There are quite a few more if you scroll through the list.
P.S. You can find info on how to use the Bible Word Study tool in this wiki page: Bible Word Study
You can also do this using the Search window
1. Select the Bible book range here
1a. In the drop down list, type: john, 1 john, 2 john, 3 john, revelation and then press the Enter key
2. Now enter your lemma : <Lemma = lbs/el/αἴρω> [ This is easiest done by right-clicking on your word in your open Bible (which has a Reverse-Interlinear for that Bible).
P.S. You can find out more about some of these features in Logos4 in these wiki pages:

Thanks Steve. The second post is exactly what I'm looking for. Btw...I knew a Steve Clark, he was my wrestling coach from Calvary Chapel. Are you this same Steve Clark?
Glad you found what you were looking for.
Never been in wrestling or Calvary Chapel, so i am not the one you knew. My name is very common name. i've even met a couple of other people visiting my church who had the same name.
Oh, well. My experience has been that the Christian world is a small world indeed. Thanks again for the help.
