Exegetical Guide Notes

What is the purpose of the "note" section at the end of each greek/hebrew word? I have tried using that as a place to take notes only to find them gone the next time I open the reference. Anyone have insight on this function? It could be very useful, but ceases to be when the notes disappear. Thank you.

I have just tried this and it seems to work fine.

You need to ensure that you are opening the Exegetical Guide to the exact reference that you used before. Are you doing that, or using a slightly different range?

Is it always necessary to put the exact same reference into the search bar on the home page or can it also be found by adding text to the search bar on the Ex Guide page once it's loaded?

Putting in a new reference in the Ex Guide page should work fine - I've just tried it and it worked ok here.
