Too Many Prepubs shipping at the same time

There are too many prepubs shipping in August. I have almost $350 in prepubs and there is no way that I will be able to get them all.

I am hoping that the shipping dates for about half are delayed.

If there was a payment plan it would spread the cost over a several months and that would work for me.

HELP!

Been there, done that so I can sympathize. As a matter of fact, I've had to drop a number of prepubs in some months just so I could keep the bank happy. It just occurred to me that there would be a solution to this if Logos were willing and able to allow a span of time involving perhaps 2-3 mo when a prepub could be paid for and downloaded once it is ready.

P.S.: I suggest you speak with one of the sales people. Sometimes it's possible to hold an item for a time even without a stated policy.

Seeing the same high volume. Which leads to suspect that you are like me with most, even almost all, of the August deliveries your talking about originating as Community Pricing (CP) items. I, however, was not surprised to see August so loaded with CP deliveries since there were hardly and CP items delivered in July at all. I was actually somewhat thankful since the slow down in CP items in July allowed me to absorb the high cost of the Bonhoeffer set in July - I hope a similar lull in CP item delivery happens when the complete Jonathan Edwards set is released.

Me thinks that purhaps some Logos employees have been doing a bit of typing during their vacations! Another reason could be that Logos is avoiding that non-conscientious "competitors" catch up (those that steal).

Logos has a lot going on, so we may have to get used to the situation more often.

Those in seminaries are probably thrilled getting volumes JIT.
