Markups do not display in Normal Mode
I know this has been mentioned before but also know it is not listed as a known issue and has not been fixed in the latest build.
Device Asus Transformer/Motorola Photon, both on Android 4.0
Logos verson 2.0.5
Open resource, view section with markups in low light and then in normal mode. On both my Transformer and Photon markups and notes appear in low light mode. On my photon and transformer notes appear in "normal" mode, however markups (highlights) do not appear on either in "normal" mode. As I indicated, in "low light" mode highlights and notes all appear.

Sorry for the tripple posts, I can only attach one file at a time on my tablet. I have also noticed that in low light mode sometimes the notes do not appear even though the page seemingly has completed loading, however I wonder if that is simply a delay in the notes loading in the background.

I'm curious, is anyone else experiencing this issue or am I alone? For those who have highlighting appearing in "normal" display mode are you on ICS or Honeycomb? Just wondering what the issue is. I've uninstalled Bible app and reinstalled and still have the same issue so wonder what the common issue is since others seem to have highlights in "normal" display mode.

I see them in both modes on my Galaxy S phone, Gingerbread (2.3).

I think this issue is related to CM9 and maybe related AOSP builds. I noticed someone else posted they could not see markups in "Normal" light mode and they were are on a HP Touchpad, so likely also using Cyanaogenmod. I loaded another ROM on my phone (based on stock Motorola) and now I can view highlights in "normal" mode. Hope that helps track down the issue.

Running a modified Android OS (CM9) is a risk that you take; software development cannot cater for such variants.

Have to disagree there Dave. Most of Android is modified. HTC modifies it with Sense, Samsung with Touchwiz, Motorola with Blur, etc. CM and AOKP are just other mods to the true AOSP release of each version. Since some markups do show in normal and all show in low light it should be an easy fix.

Dave - I didn't mean to be presumptious. It is at Logo's descretion to determine which versions and variants of Android they want to support. Generally speaking though every other app I have works fine on CM9. Since CM9 has 2 million + installs on unique devices it's hardly a niche varient anymore.

I was running a CM9 variant on my old G2 before getting my Galaxy Nexus last week & I had no issue with highlights showing in the app.
