2.0.5 Observation or confusion on highlights
when you add highlighting would it not be better to open the note entry window with the "no icon" selected so annotations can be added at same time if required..
I guess its just me but dont see need/use for current highlighing menu unless once you select color the dialog closes automatically as "done" button only seems to slow down entry

By definition, a "highlight" does not have text attached to it. If you include text, you are making a note, not a highlight. But one thing you may or may not have noticed...the note creation screen should remember which note indicator you last used, so if you frequently use the "No icon" indicator, it should remember that setting.

Sadly in reality this has not been true since highlighting and annotations were merged for sync2, over a year ago, before this it was true as there was no ability to add notes to highlights, but when the highlights started being put into the annotation file, it opened up the ability to add notes to them, they may still be seperate in Logos mindset but the reality is they are now a single entity (at least to me, LOL) and approx 75% of my highlights/markup from 4.5 now have notes attatched.
I would not want to go back to Egypt, love the changes that were brought in ahead of sync2, although it took me a bit to understand the implications and adjust my methods, the way it is now suits my senilty("What did that highlight mean???" [:D]) and workflow.
Thanks I had not notice it kept the last used icon, I will just use the Note option to add my Highlighting, then if I feel need to make notes at same time I can, its a satisfactory work around for me
Loving the update - Thanks Team
