Passage List: Want to import Cross References

I have a list of cross references that I want to import to a Passage List...but there doesn't seem to be any way for me to do that (other than to manually retype them).

This is frustrating, and I think it would be a great feature to add to Passage List--which already can import from some other sources...just not this one [or at least let me "select" text in the Cross Reference Tool].

I take it the list of cross references on the right are what you want imported.

This same list is displayed if you do a passage guide so here is my recommendation

1) if this is something you plan on doing often create a custom Passage Guide with only a Cross reference section

2)run the guide using John 3:16

3) His CTRL+P to print the guide

4) select "Copy to clipboard" on the right

5) in the Passage list you want to include the reference in select "Add>From Clipboard"

I think this will give you what you are looking for.

If you already have Explorer open, as in the example, you can leave out steps 1 and 2 and use Ctrl-P directly in Explorer instead.

(On Windows, if you have Bible references showing in other sections, I presume you need to collapse those first, to prevent them from being added as well (Mac works a bit differently).)

Good call fgh. I thought when I tried that "print" from the explorer window didn't show the cross references. Not sure why I thought that but I'm glad you proved me wrong!

It's interesting to read via e-mail: I got these two posts and they were clearly directed at me, but I had absolutely zero clue about what I'd said to deserve them. [:D]
