Can I use my Libronix library with the new Logos 4?
Why yes you can.
You can even use Libronix and Logos 4 simultaneously on the same computer!
I don't see it in my logos 4 library. Do I need to do something in the setup?
Are you logging in with the same email and password you used for Libronix? And welcome to the forums also.
You need to sign in to Logos 4 with the same user ID you use in Libronix. If these are different, you'll need to contact Logos customer service to consolidate the accounts.
If you did sign in with the same user ID, then you may just need to wait until the Libronix resources finish downloading. Or, you could use the SCAN command, if you know where your Libronix resources are. For a default installation in Win7, this will be either scan C:\Program Files\Libronix DLS\Resources, or scan C:\Program Files (x86)\Libronix DLS\Resources (for Win7 64 bit). For XP the path name might not have a space between "Program" and "Files" (I don't remember). Type the correct command into the L4 command bar. Also, you have to restart Logos4 for the scan command to execute.
I tried to drag Libronix resources files to Logos 4 Tool/Library/collections and it did not work.
Any other suggestions?
Andy,
Re-read what Richard said. L4 must read in the resources, you cannot drag them in as in L3. Use the SCAN command as he suggested. Alternatively, log into Logos 4 and let L4 download all your resources for you. (You might not want to dot his is you have limits on the number of GB you can download with your ISP.)
(Resources don't go in Collections either, but that doesn't matter as that is to be transparent to you, the user.)
