Korean English Interlinear Bible?

I need a quick answer and would like to tap into the knowledge base of the worldwide Logos forum. Is there such an animal as a Korean-English Interlinear Bible? I have a need to get a Bible for visiting Korean high school students. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Did you try a web search engine or simply Amazon? They aren't cheap though, and I wouldn't expect them to be. It's possible that someone from the Korean community has knowledge of a less expensive alternative than those that show up on the first few pages of an internet search.

What you want is a Korean English parallel Bible (not interlinear), right?

A parallel might serve my purposes and there are some available through Amazon. I was thinking more specifically of an ability to check the translation of specific words in the text. It may be more than the typical high school students would consider, but that is where I was beginning. If such is not available, we may very well need to look at the parallel Bible that meets a couple of qualifications, cheap and durable.

If you google 'Korean interlinear New Testament' you'll see one. But whether (a) the site's still active (2004) or (b) you want KJV-based Korean or (c) you want to pay the price is up to you (hardcopy). We've wanted the Japanese interlinear 'returned' to Logos for a while but doubt it'll be back. Korean would be nice too along with Chinese.

Then you would need a fully morphologized Korean bible in Logos (i.e one with a ... [please guys give Geoge his blood-pressure medicine before he reads this] ... reverse interlinear). Then the sympathetic highlighting feature could tell you which words in the English version stand for which word in the Korean one or vice versa, as both refer back to the original Greek word that was translated.

I did this with two English bibles to show you:

Note that "rites of purification" (ESV) and "ceremonial washing" (NLT) both translate the Greek καθαρισμός.

However, I'm unaware of any non-english bibles in Logos that are keyed back to the Greek text. Also, keep in mind that translation is much more complex than simply substituting words from one language by words in the other.
