Hi Guys,
I have been looking at a MSI Windpad 110w and Acer Iconia W500. Im just wondering does anyone know if logos 4 will run effectively on any of these 2 tablets?
Paul.
Looking at http://www.notebookcheck.net/Mobile-Processors-Benchmarklist.2436.0.html noticed AMD C-50 (Acer Iconia W500) is number 509 and AMD Z-01 is number 510 (MSI Windpad W110) while Intel Atom Z670 is number 530 (Dell Latitude ST).
Dell Latitude ST is a tablet that has a AAA battery in the stylus, which greatly improves pointing accuracy (helpful for tapping letters on the on-screen keyboard). Caveat: Logos 4.5c SR-2 is slow due to the 1.5 GHz Atom processor. Also am noticing battery in stand-by mode lasts ~3 days. The Windows 7 experience index is 2.2 with the processor having the lowest score. The Solid State Disk has a 7.3 experience score.
Suggest using wiki method 1 or 2 => Quick Installation onto multiple computers to avoid indexing resources, which would take days. Before copying an existing Logos 4 installation, an option is opening favorite resources with visual filter highlighting and choosing to reduce number of active filters. Using Logos 4 while listening/interacting with sermon is viable.
One speed idea: remove Anti-Virus software if only using Logos 4 in offline mode and not connecting to any network. Also could disable wireless network adapters to improve usable battery time.
Keep Smiling [:)]
